  2. Open-ended strategies – for students to connect, process, and transform
  3. Differentiation – choice is built into at least one facet of the learning
  4. Assessment for Learning
  5. Gradual Release of Responsibility

Remember to attend to students!
Can easily focus just on the delivery:)
